Chair:  Head, UBC Department of Medicine

Members:  Associate Heads, Division Heads, Program Directors, Director of Administration, Finance Manager and Human Resources Manager


a) To share departmental, university and other related  business with members
b) To engage in strategic planning
c) To create goals and objectives to continue to strengthen the Department of Medicine
d) To vote on specific issues
e) To provide an opportunity for networking
f) To enhance knowledge through training sessions


  • monthly
  • attendance is taken at UBC Executive Committee Meetings
  • minutes are taken, distributed to all committee members, and filed in the DoM administration office/UBC Archives as an archival record of departmental business
