The Department of Medicine is pleased to share that Dr. Julio Montaner has been named a University Killam Professor. The designation University Killam Professor is conferred by the UBC Board of Governors to recognize exceptional members of faculty who are extraordinary teachers and researchers, who are leaders in their academic fields, and who have received national and international recognition as a result of these characteristics. This designation is the highest honour that the University can confer on a member of faculty!
