The Privacy Matters @ UBC Symposium is an annual event hosted by the Privacy and Information Security Management (PrISM) team. The purpose of the Symposium is to raise awareness of Privacy and Security initiatives at UBC for all staff and faculty.
The Privacy and Information Security Management team invites you to join the information security discussion by attending any number of our virtual events throughout the month of October 2022. Come learn about best practices for securing your data, pose questions to the UBC Cybersecurity team, and hear an update from UBC’s Chief Information Security Officer regarding lessons learned while working through remote and hybrid working conditions, and what the future holds for information security services and standards at UBC.
