UBC IT is working hard to ensure that leading-edge technology continues to be readily accessible to faculty and staff to fully complement their teaching and work experience both on-campus and off-site.
They have been working with academic and administrative departments to anticipate how they can assist and deliver and services for the new term.
Much of UBC’s 17,000+ workforce is transitioning to a hybrid work model as part of the university’s pilot Remote Work program this fall. For those returning to campus, a new daily routine may require reacquainting or reconnecting to technology and equipment on-site after a long period of working from home.
