Researchers at the UBC Faculty of Medicine have been awarded nearly $10 million from the Government of Canada and partners to advance cancer prevention research and improve early detection. The funding supports five UBC-led projects focused on preventing cancer before it starts, enhancing early detection, and improving outcomes across Canada and beyond. Read More

Three projects led or co-led by members of the UBC Department of Medicine have received funding through the Faculty of Medicine’s 2025 Strategic Investment Fund (SIF) competition. In a highly competitive round that saw 28 proposals submitted, six projects were selected for funding, representing a total investment of $859K. Read More
