Third-year UBC medical student Sohat Sharma and first-year internal medicine resident Dr. Arveen Shokravi recently presented their work at the European Society of Cardiology Congress in Madrid — the biggest cardiology meeting in the world. It was a milestone moment for both students, who had the chance to share their research alongside global leaders in cardiovascular medicine.
