Dr. Prior’s vision is to reframe scientific knowledge of the menstrual cycle and ovulation in a woman-centred context and to integrate ovulation into Women’s Health knowledge and clinical practice.
- Menstrual cycles—epidemiology, length, variability and women’s usual cycle-related experiences
- Ovulation and luteal phase length documentation and epidemiology
- Adaptive, reversible hypothalamic reproductive suppression and its management
- Bone health and osteoporotic fracture in epidemiology and relationships with progesterone and ovulation
- Hot flushes and night sweats (vasomotor symptoms, VMS) physiology, lifecycle and therapy
- Progesterone effects on VMS, sleep problems and symptomatic perimenopause; Cyclic Progesterone Therapy for Hypothalamic Ovulatory Disturbances and Polycystic Ovary Syndrome
