Dear Colleagues,
As we near the end of 2022, we would like to thank all of you for the dedication, perseverance, and empathy you have shown in what has proven to be another challenging year. Whether it be on the clinical front lines serving the community, in the depths of cutting edge research, or educating the next generation of physicians in difficult times, we applaud your resilience and ability to adapt in this ever-changing environment.
While we appreciate the demands on your time, we are also grateful for your continued support, especially now when the UBC Department of Medicine is embarking on its new strategic plan which will shape the departmental priorities over the next five years. If you have not had a chance to provide input into the strategic plan yet, we want to hear from you.
Though 2022 was challenging, we optimistically look towards 2023 with hope for positive changes and new opportunities in the upcoming year. Please know that your commitment and passion are part of the reason why the UBC Department of Medicine is elevated to new heights year after year. You are seen and appreciated.
