Dr. Harpinder Nagi appointed Program Director of the Undergraduate Education Program

It is with great pleasure that we announce the appointment of Dr. Harpinder Nagi as the Program Director of the Department of Medicine’s Undergraduate Education Program effective November 3, 2018.

Dr. Nagi is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Division of General Internal Medicine.  He has completed his Certificate in Medical Education and his Diploma in Medical Education at the University of Dundee.  Dr. Nagi has made significant administrative contributions to the Department in the role as VGH Discipline Specific Site Lead for the past 3 years as well as contributing within the GIM Division on the Ambulatory Education Initiative group.  Dr. Nagi continues to contribute to scholarly work focused on improving the educational experience of students, residents and fellows in the GIM ambulatory setting.

At this time we would also like to express our heartfelt thanks to Dr. Cary Cuncic as she leaves this role to accept the role of Year 3-4 Associate Director of Curriculum , Undergraduate Medical Education. Dr. Cuncic’s combined experience as Undergraduate Program Director, VGH DSSL and Postgraduate Education Associate Director , Assessment and Remediation provides an outstanding diverse foundation as she continues to shape the future of the Undergraduate renewed curriculum.
