The Department of Medicine would like to congratulate Dr. Eva on this achievement!
Dr. Eva has been awarded the 2016 AFMC President’s Award for Exemplary National Leadership in Academic Medicine. This award recognizes excellence for national leadership in academic medicine. The award and the associated $1,500 honorarium will be presented at the 2016 Canadian Conference on Medical Education (Montreal, QC), April 16 – 19.
Dr. Eva is Professor and Director of Educational Research and Scholarship in the Department of Medicine, as well as Associate Director and Senior Scientist in the Centre for Health Education Scholarship. His work is focused around encouraging and supporting inter-professional, interdisciplinary, and international collaboration for the dual purposes of strengthening health professional education research as a scientific field of study in its own right and optimizing the field’s contributions to the educational and clinical practices of the health professions.
