Women in Medicine Workshop | Effectively managing imposter syndrome in medicine with Beata Chami

The UBC Department of Medicine Equity Committee is very pleased to present a Women in Medicine evening workshop with Beata Chami on effectively managing imposter syndrome in medicine.  Beata Chami is an organizational psychologist, certified executive coach, mediator, and owner of Magnify Consulting. This workshop is open to all women faculty and trainees in the UBC Faculty of Medicine.

In this interactive session, you will:

  • Understand the underlying causes and impacts of imposter syndrome
  • Learn behaviours and experiences associated with the phenomenon
  • Acquire practical strategies for managing and reducing its onset
  • Establish communities of support among peers
