Research Summary
I am currently involved in a number of different studies on management of continuous and intermittent cancer-related pain, including the use of minimally invasive palliative procedures, methadone and lidocaine, and also the management of opioid induced constipation.
My goal is to improve assessment and management of those symptoms which are the most distressing for cancer patients and their families, to make cancer less of a frightening experience
