Register now for the UBC 2nd Annual Data Science and Health CPD Conference

The Data Science and Health Cluster (DASH) invites you to their 2nd annual Data Science and Health CPD Conference on November 9, 2021, from 12-4:30 pm PST

Building on momentum from last year’s CPD event, this year’s theme will focus on the Post-COVID Perspective for Data Science and Health. Designed to address the need for health care providers to improve their understanding of data science concepts, Data Science and Health 2021 will explore how to optimally integrate data science into the delivery of care.

This interactive event is designed to enable engagement and collaboration with data scientists,  and provide a practical roadmap for applying data science in healthcare research. The program will serve as an accessible introduction to data science for clinicians while reflecting on lessons learned from the COVID-19 response.

Join us for exciting talks from prominent clinicians, researchers, academics and thought leaders. Topics will cover various themes such as Ethical and Social Implications of Data Science, Building a Learning Health System, Data-Driven Decision Making, and more!

Registration is free for students and residents.
