The Faculty of Medicine (FOM) has announced a new Canada Research Chairs (CRC) competition. There are up to four (4) Tier 1 and up to three (3) Tier 2 that can be allocated within the Faculty of Medicine as a whole.
The CRCs can be both for internal or external applicants. Clinical faculty and partner faculty will be considered external applicants. The Department of Medicine (DOM) is able to submit six (6) CRC proposals in total.
There will be an internal review of all DOM CRC proposals received and if there are more than six (6) proposals received, only six (6) will move forward to the FOM.
Please note that for both internal and external proposals, only applicants from the four federally designated groups (women, Indigenous Peoples, persons with disabilities, and visible minorities/members of groups that are racially categorized) will be eligible to be considered.
The Department of Medicine Internal Deadline for all CRC applications is noon (12pm) on Tuesday, May 11, 2021
