We would like to announce that Dr. Diane Lacaille has been appointed as the inaugural Associate Scientific Director of Arthritis Research Canada (ARC)
Due to the demands of her new role, she will be stepping down as Acting Co-Head for the UBC Department of Medicine beginning January 1, 2019. Dr. Lacaille will continue with her vital role within the Department as Associate Head of Academic Affairs. We are grateful for Dr. Lacaille’s tireless dedication and contributions to the Department of Medicine.
Please join us in thanking Dr. Lacaille for serving as Acting Co-Head for the UBC Department of Medicine over the last two years, and in congratulating her in her new role as Associate Scientific Director of ARC. We will continue to count on her for her leadership as Associate Head of Academic Affairs.
Dr. Andrea Townson and Dr. Teresa Tsang will continue on in their roles as Acting Co-Heads of the UBC Department of Medicine.
