The Department of Medicine is now accepting nominations for our annual Staff Awards of Excellence. These awards are intended to recognize staff members who have demonstrated sustained excellence in service over the course of their career, and to celebrate their outstanding contributions to the Department of Medicine.
Each award consists of a plaque and recognition at the Department of Medicine Awards presentation in June. The winners’ names will also be published on our website.
This is an excellent opportunity to acknowledge our outstanding staff members and we encourage you to submit nominations for appropriate candidates.
Categories
There are 6 categories of awards:
- CUPE 2950 Staff
- M&P Staff
- Non-Union Technical Staff
- Career Excellence
- Early Career Excellence
- EDI Advancement
Eligibility
These awards are open to all current non-faculty staff members in the UBC Department of Medicine.
Nominators
Any UBC Department of Medicine staff or faculty member can nominate eligible staff members for these awards.
Judging Criteria
Nomination forms, eligibility criteria and a list of previous awardees can be obtained by contacting Donna Combs (donna.combs@ubc.ca).
Nomination Procedure
Please submit the completed nomination form & signed nomination letter to Donna Combs (donna.combs@ubc.ca) by Friday, April 28, 2023.
